"Our group had a wonderful stay. Sam, our host, was fantastic. He made sure we knew all the details of the house, how to use the fireplace and the sauna. There was a lot of snow and Sam made sure that things were shovelled and that we had access to everything. The house is beautiful, clean, and perfect for our group. The views were incredible. Lots of wildlife around, we saw 17 deer one morning. All together a great place!"

"We had a lovely stay at The Water Edge. The owner is incredibly kind and responsive, and the property itself is absolutely gorgeous — cozy, clean, and set in a beautiful location that really lives up to the name.One important thing to note for anyone visiting in the winter: the road leading into the cottage is not ploughed. Between our three vehicles, we got stuck four separate times, and I had to call CAA twice to get us out. It was a stressful experience that definitely impacted our trip.I would strongly recommend having an all-wheel-drive vehicle during winter conditions. This wasn’t mentioned on the website, and it would be very helpful for future guests to know ahead of time so they can plan accordingly.Overall, a beautiful place with a wonderful owner — just be prepared if you’re visiting in the winter."
