"The resort is nice and generally quiet. The ground are beautiful and the lake is stunning. We stayed at the Maplewood building, which is old but charming. The room was clean and comfortable. The jacuzzi was a welcome bonus especially after a long winter hike. The only negative thing for me was the constant humming noise that was coming from the ice machine located directly below the room - if you are sensitive to sounds like I am, room 532 might not work for you. "Everything was clean, staff were friendly and very helpful. 0ne thing we think could be improved is communication. Also we thought a better list of items we needed to bring would be good. There was bath towels but no kitchen towels. No oven mitts. We had a wonderful few days, our teenage boys did a lot of swimming and kayaking. "

"The cottage itself is delightful, ultra clean and fresh with comfortable beds and seating. Everywhere are considerate touches that add to one’s comfort & pleasure. The outdoor deck, dock and lawn are perfect too. What’s not mentioned in the listing is the Boatworks/Marina to the left of the property and a rental cottage on the right that is very busy.
