"Booked swim up Signature Level suite, cost £2k each for a week, overpriced. Room was lovely, swim up pool great. Noisy room some nights as it was right by Gaucho restaurant, staff rude when complained. Buffet food was barely hot 80% of the time, also very limited choice of food compared to other 5 star hotels I've stayed at. Overall, gorgeous hotel and grounds, staff were amazing. Drinks, we'd paid for Signature Level so had premium drinks but cocktails were very hit and miss i.e. no consistency and main lobby bar had some pre-mixed cocktails which were awful (not 5 star). Sky bar cocktails were good, freshly made and the sunset from there was amazing. Generally quite a chilled hotel, DJ by main pool every day at 3pm, could get quite loud and annoying with percussion or drums. Entertainment, other than DJs, only saw one act, two girls singing with guitar, they were good. Lack of entertainment considering this is a 5 star hotel, may be due to being May and not peak season. Pool bar snack bar was good, food was made to order, hot, fresh, inconsistent cocktails, had good ones and bad ones.
Overall a lovely hotel, food and cocktails let it down so we wouldn't go back. There's a town about 8 mins away in cab (costs about 7 or 10 euro each way), lovely marina, shops, restaurants etc. "
