Great property that is small and personable! They seem to have thought of it all as far as things to use at their facility. They have bikes, movies, games, umbrellas, beach chairs, games, towels and so much more. We just weren't there ling enough to us it all. They are also an easy walk to the beach, shopping, and a ton of restaurants.

Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Great location, within walking distance of main center and port, yet far enough away to be peaceful. On-site laundry, parking, outdoor kitchen area by pool - all great. Definitely recommend to guests who enjoy genuine hospitality in a low-key environment.

Excellent stay all around! The owners were extremely friendly and helpful, answering all my questions and helping book tours. The facilities were all clean and comfortable, and it was a perfect place to stay in Port Douglas.

We had a great stay here to wrap up a month of traveling. It was quiet, and great location near shopping, restaurants, and the beach. Robin and Sonya, the hosts, were extremely helpful and all around great! Highly recommend!

Our family of 4 stayed 5 nights ina 2 br. The apartments are spacious, nicely decorated and very well equipped. Every little comfort is thought of to make your stay pleasant. We appreciated the washer and dryer in the room. We truly loved eating breakfast on the verandah every morning while watching all the birds. The location is very convenient and we walked everywhere in town. Sue, goes above and beyond to make your stay as wonderful as possible. A strong recommend from a family of seasoned...

Perfect for what we wanted, great location

This aprtment is perfect, roomy and comfortable. The air-conditioning worked well, unfortunately it rained 3 days straight so we did not use pool.

My fiancé and I went here with minimal expectations, just looking for a getaway with close access to the Great Barrier Reef. This resort was beyond accommodating. The surpassed our expectations with amazing food, drinks, and service. They also provided us with transport to and from most any location and recommended awesome activities and onsite nature walks!

We enjoyed a wonderful 3 nights at Tropical Nites and would highly recommend this property. The apartment was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The location was great for us, as it is just a 10 minute walk to the beach and an enjoyable 15 minute walk to town. There was also easy free parking in town for the times we chose to drive. The managers were super helpful before and after our stay in giving us information and booking tours. We hope to be back one day!

Beautiful private location. Very comfortable and well equipped.

This is a great hotel in a great location. It is a small, quaint town. We had a wonderful time in Palm Cove. The only downside was that the jacuzzi was warm, not hot. For some reason, the jacuzzi and pool attached to it were heated to the same temperature. The hotel is right on the beach and the views are spectacular. One small note is that a sign informs visitors that swimming is not allowed from November to May (jelly fish).

This hotel is in a great location with easy access to all the restaurants and shops. The hotel is well maintained and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I recommend it

Shantara was a wonderful place to stay. It was a short walk to Macrossan St for restaurants and shops

Fantastic stay! Great room, pool and staff! Looking forward to coming back to Port Douglas

The property is spotless and ideally situated. Manager Paul is incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring our stay is enjoyable. In addition, the villa dog, Bruce, is so lovely and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed playing with him.

We stayed for three nights over the Christmas holidays, the height of summer. We loved this resort, and our villa was amazing. Our daughter lived in the pool while my husband and I tried to get cool in the AC. Our complaints are similar to others here... the villa wasn't super clean when we checked in. It really just needed to be refreshed and swept. There were a lot of cobwebs and spiders/spider dirt in the corners and the floors were dirty. We did notify the front desk, and she offered to have...

Great room. Great location. Liked that a tiurist office was in front of the hotel. Typically book ourselves online but this was helpful to find the perfdct trip out to the reef. Highly recommend. The onky thing we didnt like was expecting to use the same bath towels for up to a week or pay $4 per person.

My wife and I stayed at this lovely facility for a week in celebration of our 25th wedding anniversary. We had booked a standard room and were pleasantly surprised to learn we had been upgraded to a one-bedroom suite complete with a bottle of champagne for our celebration! The room had a balcony overlooking the lush tropical foliage and the pool. It was extremely clean and very comfortable and included laundry facilities. Liz was an absolute delight and made it clear that she was there to...
