"We stayed at HQ Bar and Restaurant for one night during the Isle of Man TT and had a fantastic experience. We arrived early and the staff kindly let us drop off our bags in the restaurant and even gave us our room key so we could check in later without any hassle. The hotel is charming and cozy, with an incredibly kind and welcoming team. Everyone we met was polite, helpful, and happy to answer all our questions. The on-site restaurant was excellent — we walked along the beach looking for dinner but ended up coming back and were so glad we did. The food was great, and the bar had a nice, relaxed vibe. Breakfast the next morning was a buffet-style English breakfast served until 9:30, and it was just what we needed. Our room was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. When it was time to leave, the staff helped us arrange a taxi, which made things super easy. Overall, it was a lovely stay and a perfect base for experiencing the TT. Highly recommended!"

"Lovely older hotel - lotsa stairs to some of the rooms but not an issue for us. Very nice rooms, comfortable bed, great hotel staff. Great breakfast, great location close to shopping, train and bus, and ferry terminal. Great breakfast and nice restaurant overall."

"We enjoyed our stay! Good location on the beach in walking distance of restaurants and relatively easy to park on the street. Friendly staff, and great food at the restaurant. Breakfast was solid too with the option of kippers to go with a full-English-type spread. Would recommend! "

"Overwhelmed by this hotel and island. From the moment of check in by 2 lovely ladies we received an Atrium room which was an absolute delight. Newly refurbished rooms and a little balcony with chairs to sit out overlooking an indoor garden with lots of natural light. We don’t want to leave it’s been the best trip 🙏 "

"Kittiwake House was an excellent place to stay in Port Erin and a very convenient base for exploring all of Isle of Man. There's so much within a short walk (Tesco, restaurants, takeaway, The Isle of Man Railway, etc) that a handier location is hard to imagine. The view over the strand to the bay and surrounding cliffs is magnificent. The flat makes a nice home away from home for all the needs and comforts during travel, and we appreciated being able to spread out and eat at home for some meals. One temporary challenge we had was that parking is on-street parking that, while free, isn't always available. We arrived during a beautiful beach day, and all nearby street parking was occupied. We had to begin sightseeing straightaway and return later in the day when people began leaving the beach. Overall, great holiday!"
