"We are from Florida and Hotel Captain Cook really stood out for us. We arrived later in day, wonderful staff checked us in, and then we headed to the rooftop restaurant for an appetizer and drink. Highly recommend this hotel for comfort and a cozy experience. "

"Pool deck area was dirty and unsanitary (trash, used band aids, visibly soiled towels lying on the floor!) Also there were no pool towels available even if I’d opted to enter the pool. Lobby, breakfast atea and hallways were very cold. Room appeared to be fairly clean and functional. Front desk staff were pleasant but also freezing (wearing parka and had space heater). "

"I absolutely loved this apartment. So cozy, so warm (and it was -10 to -20 during a cold snap out there!). The views were magnificent. Property was clean. I go to Anchorage a lot & I’m so glad to have found this spot because I’ll be staying here again hopefully next time! Also so great to walk to so many of my favorite spots!"
