Castle Hill Conservation Area is an awesome place for a morning stroll. Good photo compositions can be found all over the place. We didn't get great light that day but at least some moody clouds.

"The apartment is set within easy walking to the Methven Village, the hot pools and the Methven walking route. The bus to get up to the Mt Hutt ski field came into the Brinkley area and was good timing to get to the ski field as the lifts opened. "

"Excellent accommodation, modern, clean, comfortable, fully equiped, quiet, nice views. We only stayed one night but a good spot to stay longer. "

"We had a wheelchair user with us and this ground floor location with a shower was perfect. The communication was excellent and the apartment exactly as pictured and easy walking distance to the village centre."

"Great place to stay only 1 hr out of Christchurch.We woke up to the best view of the mountains right out the bedroom window. Rakaia gorge is beautiful with jetboat walk or swim if you want to brave the cold. Nice relaxing stay for 2 days. I would definitely stay again"

Keen to come back

"Staff were super friendly and attentive. They really helped to look after the needs of our sometimes terrible toddler. Dinner was really good with a great selection to choose from. A bit disappointed that there was no a la carte breakfast available (only selction from the continental and hot) still filled us up ready for the days activities and they did make us additional hashbrowns which were really good. The villa/apt we had was spacious and well decorated/furnished. The couch while stylish and chic could have been more snuggly and comfy. The views were great over looking the golf course and up to the mountains. Will be back for sure"
