"Stayed for one night for my wife’s birthday and we had a lovely time. Staff were very friendly and helpful, specifically Angeline in the spa, who was so incredibly friendly and accommodating. Everything you want from a member of staff at your hotel. Bonnie and Ffion in the restaurant were very personable and gave us a great service. Food in the steak house was incredible, breakfast was lovely too. It’s a beautiful building and the room was huge. I would highly recommend Lanelay for a relaxing weekend. "

Arriving when the night porter has started is always a bonus as he helps with the small things I need. Like a doorstop to let me get my scooter out of the room. Visiting the Vale is an all round positive experience. "
