"Beautiful, unique house in a lovely part of town."
"Wonderful stay - perfect for our multi-generational "girl's trip." The staff was responsive and friendly, parking was easy and convenient, neighborhood was quiet but close to lots of restaurants. I won't stay anywhere else if I'm visiting Portland. "
"Absolutely loved my stay at the Cascade Hotel! The neighborhood location is perfect—walkable, vibrant, and gives you a true Portland experience. The hotel itself is top-notch, with 5-star amenities and a staff that goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. One of the absolute highlights was the thermal springs—an unforgettable experience and a must-visit for anyone staying here. I’ll definitely be back!"

Peaceful Garden Cottage, Close to Mt. Tabor Park & Downtown Bus
10/10 Excellent
"We enjoyed the quiet and garden-like setting of this space. The kitchen is fully equiped for cooking and baking, the bedroom and bathroom were comfortable, and the high ceilings gave it a spacious feel. Being able to walk to Mt Tabor Park was also a highlight, and we also liked the available street parking, the washer/drier unit, the AC unit, the easy check-out, and the sounds of squirrels playing on the roof. We slept well on the queen bed in the one bedroom and our teenage son slept well on the livingroom couch that folds down to a bed. Our other teenage son slept on the floor atop a foldable mattress that Diane loaned us - thank you! Note that this unit is not a stand-alone structure, but rather an addition attached to the back of the house that is occupied by the property owners. "

"Anthony and Fotoula were outstanding vacation rental host and were very responsive and timely in communicating with us. They were traveling during our stay and their co-host, Jorge was equally attentive! The neighborhood was quiet, very close to a fun section of Portland and street parking was not a problem. The apartment has a cuteness factor that we really liked, well stocked and lots of thoughtful amenities -too many to list here! We were hard pressed to find anything negative about this sweet basement apartment. We are also vacation rental hosts and rely heavily on positive reviews from our guests. We fully understand the purpose of this review is to let future guests know what to expect before they book. Though definitely not a dealbreaker we wish that the hosts would have made better mention of the property being a basement apartment and being mindful of “long-term tenants upstairs“. Watching TV past 11PM or sleeping until 8:30AM was not possible. We were concerned that the upstairs tenants could hear our TV, as we could hear the footsteps from upstairs, especially in the morning. The only reason why we are mentioning this is for consideration to others who might be bothered by having tenants or guests in such close proximity. As stated before this was not a dealbreaker for us during our 3 night stay. The apartment and yard was immaculate, very comfortably furnished and reasonably priced."
