The room was clean as could be the bed was comfortable – I like everything about this hotel except perhaps valet parking."

Though I wouldn't say this is a luxury stay, the water pressure and heat was less than satisfactory and I do understand there is a very small waterheater for the space. Also, if you want to feel secluded this may not be the space for you. However, it is convenient to great food and drinks in the Hawthorne neighborhood. Overall, a good stay!"

"We stayed in different rooms on April 29 and on May 1, 2026. The rooms seemed recently renovated. This is a no-frills accommodation: there are a little refrigerator and cups, but no coffee-maker. The concierge on each night was welcoming and competent. My only complaint is that on the second night, our supposedly non-smoking room smelled strongly of stale tobacco smoke. I reported this to the concierge, and she said that she would advise the manager to run a de-odorizing machine. (We did not ask for a different room, because we thought we were given the last available room.)"
