"Best smelling and clean hotel "

"This was a quick one-night stop on a road trip to Maine. We arrived late, but the manager was ready and expecting us. His friendly smile made us feel very welcome. The property is interesting, if not a little bit quirky. But everything was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The room is a delightful mixture of retro styling (bathroom tiles colors are very 60s-70s) and modern comfort (new bed with memory foam mattress topper). And it's a quick drive to the downtown of Westfield, NY, which is quaint and has a great little coffee shop, not to mention that it's a 5-minute drive to the Lake Erie shore. We'd stay here again if our itinerary called for it. Thanks!"

"This was our fourth and not last stay. We just love our time at Steelhead Run. Cabin was well equipped, clean and comfortable. The lake was beautiful as always even. Our dog loved walking on the beach and the sunsets are unmatched. "

"Perfect home to stay right on Lake Erie! The views from both floors are breathtaking and the sounds of the waves were peaceful and calming. It’s a blessing to hang out on the decks to enjoy the sounds and sights of the lake. It was a bit too windy during our stay, but sleeping with the windows open would have been a dream! In the same day we saw a double rainbow in the morning and a gorgeous sunset in the evening! The home is very clean and accommodating, no detail was missed! The decor was wonderful and you can tell the house is well cared for. Would recommend this to anyone who wants to stay on Lake Erie. Even though you can’t access the water, it’s absolutely worth it! We are very grateful for the chance to stay here!!"

"Nice, quiet place"

"I believe this is our 3rd stay at the Light Keepers Refuge, and we hope to return again. I could go on about the comfy beds or the accommodating space for friends and family while visiting the area, but its the fresh air that is gem of this property. The fresh Canadian air that blows through this home is truly restorative. You just feel better when you stay here. "
