"Our room, superior for 3 overlooking the pool, had typical Sicilian furnishings and a high domed ceiling. Out front there was a small patio area with furniture and a great view of Etna. Just a shower which worked well but needed a little maintenance. The daily cleaning was exemplary. Dining was on a spacious terrace with mature olive and fruit trees. The restaurant offered a range of options including Sicilian favourites although some were not to my taste. The 10euro breakfast was a good buffet but mostly cakes and pastries. The pool was excellent and very clean. Airport pick up is 90 euros which is cheaper than getting one at the airport. I felt a bit trapped in the hotel as we did not have a car. Walking in the area is very limited as outside is a constant stream of traffic and the pavements peter out after a short distance. Taxi to Giarre is 20 euro but train fares are very cheap. The only other accessible evening restaurant was just meat dishes so not good for vegetarians.One afternoon we came back to find the hotel restaurant was closed so we had to resort to the nearby supermarket and break the 'no eating of food from outside the hotel' rule. The worst thing was that my sun lounger collapsed under me and I banged my back on a stone step. We saw this happen 2 or 3 times a day - the staff were sympathetic but not curious as to why it was happening. If you use a lounger check the locking pins on each side are not broken or missing and sit down on the leg end."

"Amazing place! the rooms are super clean and in keeping with the farming/volcano vibe, the guys that run it are unbelievably friendly and helpful, the foods fantastic, pools great, really fantastic. Nicely placed for trips out to explore and if your lucky, Etna will perform!"
Charming villa with pool, blossoming garden & view

"Everything was even better than we expected! The place is absolutely beautiful — surrounded by lemon trees, mangoes, and even bananas. The pool was clean and lovely, with an incredible view of Mount Etna. Giovanni was a fantastic host — incredibly kind and helpful. When we asked if it was possible to move the baby’s cot to our room, he happily carried it there, even though that wasn’t where it was originally set up. Such a thoughtful gesture! The other guys working in the beautiful garden were also great — we ended up sharing a few glasses of wine with them on a couple of evenings and had some really nice conversations. It made the whole stay feel warm, relaxed, and genuinely authentic. Everything is exactly as beautiful as in the pictures, but what really makes this place special is the atmosphere and the authentic Sicilian vibe. We absolutely loved our stay. Thank you, Giovanni! We hope to come back someday! ❤️"

"We stayed one night at Alhambra B&B Guest House di Charme and had a very good stay. We received a friendly welcome and a tour of the property when we arrived, and everything was easy from that point on. The property is small, green, and well maintained, and the whole place feels calm, private, and well cared for. The saltwater pool was the highlight. It has underwater jets plus two jets above the water line: one wide jet and one narrow jet with strong, concentrated pressure. The salt water was pleasant to swim in and the jets made it very easy to relax. The rooms are simple and comfortable, with everything needed for a short stay, and the showers have good water pressure, which is not always the case in this type of accommodation. Breakfast was great and matched the standard of the rest of the property. One practical note for future guests: staff are not permanently on site. When we arrived we were unsure how to get in, but we pressed the door buzzer and a member of staff drove over within a few minutes, welcomed us, and opened the gate so we could drive through to the private, gated car park, which had plenty of space. After that everything ran smoothly, so new arrivals should simply expect to use the buzzer. Overall this is a peaceful and well-run B&B with an excellent pool and a great breakfast. It suited a one-night stop very well, and one night was not long enough to make full use of the pool and garden. We would happily return for a longer stay."

"Wir hatten selten einen so rundum schönen und authentischen Sommerurlaub! Der Ort Torre Archirafi ist zauberhaft authentisch, die Menschen zugewandt und super-freundlich. Die Badeplattform neben dem kleinen Bootshafen war Treffpunkt mit Einheimischen und toller Einstieg ins kristallklare Meer.Wir haben dort nur gut gegessen, besonders im "A Scialata Fronte Mare" und im "La torretta dei siciliani", beide quasi nebeneinander direkt am Meer, einen Steinwurf von der Wohnung entfernt. Aperitif im "Chiosco La Cupola" und Einkaufen und köstlich Selbstgekochtes mitnehmen bei "Plus market". Eis, Süßspeisen und Snacks essen sich am besten im "Modò Cafè". Wir haben den Ort und seine Menschen wirklich lieben gelernt!Die Gastgeberin Maria ist fantastisch, jederzeit erreichbar, hilfsbereit und einfach wunderbar. Die Wohnung war blitzsauber, hat eine wunderbare Lage und Aussicht auf die gesamte Umgebung, einschließlich Ätna und Meer direkt vor der Nase. Am letzten Abend konnten wir sogar einen Ätna-Ausbruch beobachten. Einfach einzigartig.Die Einrichtung der Wohnung ist älter, aber von hoher Qualität. Das Bett im Elternschlafzimmer könnte für einige zu weich sein, ich selbst habe sehr gut darin geschlafen. Ohne die Klimaanlagen in Schlaf- und Wohnzimmer wäre es bei den Temperaturen nicht auszuhalten gewesen - wir haben eine Hitzewelle im Juli mit über 40 Grad erwischt. Die Klimaanlagen haben uns gerettet.Danke, dass wir hier Gäste sein und eine so tolle Erfahrung machen durften!"

"Bonjour, l'emplacement du logement est remarquable! Devant la plage ET l'Etna! En semaine, le site est tranquille et parfait. Le week-end ,c'est un peu plus animé. L'état général du logement est bien, quoique la cuisine pourrait etre amélioré. Nous y avons passé une très belle semaine!PLUS: accès au Lido gratuitement et très bon service de Giovanni et son équipe.MOINS: piscine non fonctionnelle, terrasse au sol bcp moins attrayante que sur les photos (mais la terrasse au toit était parfaite!)"
