"Looking for a base camp around Taormina/Catania? This is perfect for you. Close to highways, easy to park cars. A lot of nice locations within a one hour drive. So, if you are a big group with children, this is the percent setting. It is basically two connected appartements, 2 floors each, and a terrace. The view from the top is also spectacular. The listing is very accurate. Giuseppe is a great host, super easy to communicate with WhatsApp, always there to make sure you are ok. The only drawback, and it has nothing to do with this rental, is the management of garbage. Quite complicated I have to say. My recommendation would be to have bigger containers, particularly if you consider that you can be more than 10 people. Otherwise, I would highly recommend this place."

"A beautiful setting in the middle of nowhere. Use google not mapquest to get there. There is nothing around you however you can walk the orchard which is very nice especially in the evening. Spa is closed. Looks as if it was never open. Don’t rely on the video they publish. Ok. Rooms are spacious with odd glass bathrooms you’ll be on display when showering. Bed pillows are shockingly flat, the AC remote near impossible to use, the tv is something you’d put out to the curb if it was yours and if you’re lucky to have a Mt. Etna view be prepared for the early wake up call of trains literally running a 100 or so feet from your window. They run every 30 minutes between 5 am and 11 pm. The furniture around the pool while beautiful to look at is extremely uncomfortable to sit on. Now the good. Staff is lovely. They are all trying hard as if they’re trying to make up for some of these deficiencies. The restaurant is Michelin starred and it shows. The meals we had there were as good as it gets in Sicily. Breakfasts were above normal. In summary I would still recommend the hotel. The historic renovated building and the grounds are exceptional."

"This hotel is beautiful and staff was amazing. I had lost my important medication on the plane and the receptionist called multiple pharmacies to assist and I was able to get it the next day. The pool is beautiful and the food was delicious. Our room was beautiful as well. I can’t praise the staff enough, I wish I wrote their names down. The pizzeria two minute walk away was delicious as well. We will definitely be back!"
