"We come to Galena once per year for business, and this place is an ideal place to stay. It is very affordable, close to food and the city center, and a quiet, comfortable room. My only requests would be to offer a continental breakfast and automatic daily housekeeping. But all in all it is an excellent value for the money."

"The motel is sparkling clean and situated on a bluff overlooking the Mississippi River. It is basic and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. An Improvement in Quality of Hotel
"Since it was the Marriott the property has really improved. There is a bar now and a sumptuous breakfast was served. There is now an elevator where there wasn't one before. The beds are quite comfortable and there is housekeeping each day. The staff was quite courteous, except the checkout person was quite cold. i wanted to talk about our great stay but I don't think I would have been too well received. "
