"Property is well maintained, and has good size accommodation. Room had faulty A/C, and had to open windows to cool off room. Requests were made to front desk but were not considered serious which was disappointing."

When we started to plan our trip to Florence we couldn't believe the high cost of the hotels there...so we decided to stay in Prato because it's less than 30 min. in a train that runs few times every hour for under $3 each way. 10 min. walk from the train station Prato Centrale to this family run old school hotel. Prato is also great historic town with restaurants and all you need if you decide to eat there. What a great stay. Saved us over $1000 in our 7 day trip. Thanks!!!"

"I do not normally like staying in a B&B type of environment, but the Podere la Rondine is the epitome of comfort, old-world luxury and the friendliest hospitality I have experienced. The rooms are quite spacious and old-world luxurious chic. The entire facility has been renovated beyond perfection. It is like staying at home while away. We loved it. You have access to the entire guest house and it is so luxurious. Elisabetta makes the best scrambled eggs ever and the breakfast buffet is a great...

"Very central to Prato. Lovely period features. Nice roof top terrace. I stayed in an apartment on the 1st floor overlooking the main road. It was very noisy. People on the street from a nearby bar were out until 1am - just talking but it came through to the room. A set of earplugs allowed me to sleep on the second night. I think there should be a warning for that room to say that it is noisy. Otherwise guests will be shocked."
