"Lovely quiet boutique style hotel. Excellent breakfast, served on terrace with great views across Funchal. Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel 10/15 minutes walk from Old Town but on a steep hill. Walk back a bit challenging in the heat, although buses available nearby. No bar, (only honesty bar), and no pool. Good sized room, with added bonus of an equipped kitchen area. Room decor in need of some minor attention, (damp patch on wall, shower cubicle tired). Mini bar and coffee machine in room. Charge made for coffee pods, (and mini bar). Would really expect free tea and coffee making facilities in a hotel of this standard. Overall, a great place to stay and would definitely recommend."

"Beautiful hotel and super convenient location. Very clean and comfortable. Staff was all super nice and helpful. Spa is very nice and Suana and Turkish bath are available free of charge to all guests. Rooftop has really nice views of Funchal."

"We had a lovely stay at the property, it is a great space and had everything you need for a stay. The pool was beautiful if a little cold, but very refreshing. We felt some areas were a little grubby and in need of renovation like the kitchen for the price paid and we felt air con would be a massive improvement for enjoyment, the house got very hot even with all windows open but overall we enjoyed our stay. The communication with the host was perfect and they kindly allowed us a late check out which was really appreciated."

"The Hotel is absolutely gorgeous and in an amazing part of Funchal. The rooftop pool And bar are absolutely unbelievable with the best views in town. The staff are incredible and the rooms were cleaned impeccably. Possibly needing a little TLC in some parts of the room. But do not let it put you off absolutely fantastic would definetly return"
