"The apartment hotel is a new building in a suburban residential area. Staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a good restaurant called Brothers nearby which serves gyros and other Greek meals and is frequented by locals. There is a mini mart and a couple of bakeries as well on the same street. There is ample street parking so it is a good location for those renting vehicles to explore Crete. We visited Knossos and Matala Beach but did not have time to visit the Old Town of Heraklion. "An exquisitely designed property in a charming town, near Heraklion. Although it's no fault of the hotel, GPS programs insist on directing you on tiny, steep lanes to bring you to and take you from the property. Highly recommended to not rely on GPS apps. This offers small town flavor near to Heraklion with plenty of tourist sites nearby, including Knossos. Breakfast was great. We had a few pre-season hiccups which the staff endeavored to solve. "Hotel Emi was lovely, right on the beach just a few kilometres north of Heraklion. The bed was comfy, breakfast really nice. The manager/owner was very helpful. We enjoyed our two night stay."

"This is a truly special property. Fantastic service, beautiful accommodations and a 3 minutes walk(downhill) to the beach. My only concern is that I booked and paid for a superior suite and was given a smaller room than I paid for. The room was enough space so I didn’t complain but I would have preferred to be informed and compensated for the smaller room. "

"After I checked in, the manager/owner was nowhere to be found, although, he posted his phone number on the glass of his office for emergency. There was no one around to reset the wi-fi after so many blackouts. I was unable to use the internet during my 7 days of stay. Housekeeping was so bad that no one to change the towels or bed sheets. "Sirena apartments are located close to the beach. We were in one of the new apartments with sea views. A perfect location for a beach holiday at the lovely Agia Pelagia.; the apartments are adequate for the preparation of basic meals and for sleeping. They are cleaned daily. However they are very small with tiny bathrooms. Originally told the internet was weak, we found there was no wifi access in the rooms.
