"We loved Shutters on the Banks and will stay there again when in the area. The staff was very welcoming and helpful in giving us information about the area. The room was comfortable with beautiful decor. Breakfast was very good and the dining area very well-done and comfortable. The balcony right off our room allowed us to drink our morning coffee while watching the sun-rise. We then took a walk to the beach, then enjoyed the hot-tub and pool. Great location with access to popular sites. "

"The property was very clean and the location had an ocean front view which was amazing. The unit was outdated, the beds were uncomfortable. The bed in the room at the entrance literally made my spine hurt and I had to sleep on the couch to avoid being in pain. I have never experienced back pain. So this was an unwanted surprise. All in all, it could be better but was just okay. VRBO is amazing to deal with though."

"Kitchen cabinet door missing. Closet door busted off hinge, Blinds off the wall and on the floor in the bedroom, front window screens torn and flapping, Garbage/ debris/ insulation on the lower and mid deck. The rear vinyl is burned and patched with duct tape. No bath towels (left in dryer, wet). Check-in was late due to the cleaning not being completed. Air vents are dirty and black.It looked like a frat house, with NO upkeep. They should be ashamed to rent the house in its current condition.Booking agency -Avantstay, did nothing to resolve ANY of the issues. We left and found alternative accommodations after 3 days of no resolution. I would not rent this house."

"This property had everything we needed. It was very accommodating to our dog with a great deck that connected to a fenced in back yard. It was close to the beach. The hosts were very communicative and really pleasant. Highly recommended "
