From the moment we checked in (on our honeymoon) until we left 6 days later our experience was awesome. The general manager took the time to learn our name, greet us upon arrival and again as we left. Fellow guests were all friendly. My rental car's battery died and they took care of everything while we were off playing golf. The food, especially daily breakfast, was fabulous. All needs were anticipated without request necessary. All-in-all, a great trip (I highly recommend Barbados as well).

If you are trying to decide between the Marriott properties- this is definitely the best (more to open soon though). The beach is beautiful and there is great snorkeling if you follow the rope on the left side over the reef. We stayed in a split ocean view - incredible view. The adults pool is beautifully landscaped and feels very special (even had monkey activity). The staff is the best part of the stay - they genuinely want your stay to be top notch- shout out to Ether, Astrid, Tamisha and...

The general experience was quite good, the hotel menu selection was ok. and service quite good.
The public transportation was quite easy and accessible. .
However, there was a misunderstanding on the package booked.
Although my party consists of (4) four person, however, the breakfast was only available to (1) one person.
This was not made clear when the booking was made. we discovered this the day we checked in..
This was very dissappointing ..

This resort made our trip. We stayed for a week in late September 2015 to celebrate a major birthday. The Colony Club upgraded our room (probably possible only because it was off-season), and started our vacation off right with delicious rum punches and a bottle of champagne. And it just got even better from there. The resort and the island are incredibly beautiful. The Colony Club is low-key and elegant; the staff friendly and helpful...we have nothing but wonderful memories. We'll be...

Very small for a Fairmont but very nice property with all 72 rooms facing the sea. Everything you could want is on the property. Only challenge is that, for those who must roam, you must walk a bit to town, take a very convenient and inexpensive public bus, or taxi if you don't have a rental car.
Staff was the most pleasant and accommodating I have ever encountered.

The best experience ever. The staff was by far the best thing about this hotel. Anything we needed they offered to do. My wife even wanted to try a local dish not on their menu, they went to the market and prepared it specially for us. We were fine with directions to a local restaurant that served it. 10/10. Must stay here.

A well-maintained property with clean rooms, great pool and a very nice beach, with helpful staff that are happy to set up sun beds with towels and shade. There is drink service at the beach although a bit slow. However, there is cold drinking water available via self-serve all the time. One important tip - the beach is divided into three by barrier rocks. Of the three sections, the one furthest away from the towel cabana has best ocean floor - with almost no rocks. The other two sections do...

I never review any place I've been, but this place really exceeded my expectations.
First off, I should say: The staff said this was their busy season, with occupancy around 90%. But, it didn't feel that way. No problem getting a table at the restaurants, no problems finding a place to sit at any of the pools... even if we came down at noon, there were always beach chairs available.
Very comfortable property, never felt crowded, great food & restaurant activities on property, lots of good...

This is one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I honestly can’t think of one thing they could improve upon. The grounds are stunning and the decor is spot on. The food was fantastic and the service impeccable. And the hotel offers all sorts of complementary amenities such as tea time, boating and snorkeling. As well there are plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Staying here is a must!

I recently traveled to Barbados early June for my birthday. The hotel staff was very warm and friendly; they checked in on my friends and I daily and gave us great advice of places to visit, places to eat and booked a catamaran excursion for us that picked us up and dropped us off. Rosie at reception is amazing!! She was funny and sweet and even gave a a bottle of wine on my Birthday! We booked reservation in Island Inn because the Amaryllis Beach Resort closed. It was our first all 'inclusive experience' and we were very pleased by the variety and quality of the meals provided. The owner of the Inn was a most gracious host and the staff one and all were a delight.

Had a great stay at Mango Bay for five nights in mid April 2017. Reviews were right on. We had a room overlooking the pool with a partial view of the ocean. The pool closes early, noise was never an issue. The beach was small but amazing, highly underrated. The best part is the food! Can't say enough good things about the entire food staff from the chefs, the wait staff they are very pleasant and engaging. The food was the best by far of any resort we have ever been to. We stayed 3 nights on our first trip to Barbados. The hotel is lovely and the room was very comfortable. The staff was amazing - everyone was so friendly and helpful. We truly enjoyed our stay and would have stayed longer, but we booked at the last minute and they were completely booked. The food in the restaurant was very good as well. We will be back someday!
