The house was much bigger than it looked in the pictures and the kids loved the pool. "A wonderful escape, especially after 5 activity filled days and nights in a hot and crowded Rome. The property is beautiful, with lovely gardens, perfect sunsets and, yes, we had donkeys, sheep and deer for neighbors. The house is spacious and comfortable, uniquely furnished with works by Orvieto Craftsmen and murals featuring the gardens and the donkeys. We were 11, ranging in age from 4 to 78 and took full advantage of the amazing pool complex, including hot tub, sauna and misting showers....

"Villa Cardinali tucked away in the Roman hills, was magical. We visited with our married children, their spouses and our 6 grandchildren. A family of 12. The villa accommodated us very well with its beautifully appointed spacious old-world rooms. There is a pool, and this was a real plus especially for the children!
