"I would have said this hotel was excellent except I could not sleep last night. There was a wedding and my room was over the ballroom. The noise was unbearable and my bed was shaking. The neighboring room thought the noise was coming from me so they were pounding on the wall repeatedly which just added to my discomfort. Only wedding guests should be above the ballroom. The entire experience clouded my whole visit. A warning would have Been nice too. Out of nowhere the bed just started shaking. I was there to get some rest which clearly did not happen. Very disappointed"

"The property and the house were very nice. Everything was “as described”. The village was a Norman Rockwell dream. Friday social gathering at the village square and many places to fish within walking distance. A nice local pub to enjoy the Salmon River and the rapids from their deck (LD’s at the River). A very large play ground at the local elementary school only .4 mile walk, that our Grandsons loved. So all in all it was great."

"Pool was great, and we all had a comfortable stay. Plenty of towels, pool toys, and large spacious rooms. Would be nice to have a dresser in each room for unpacking, but overall it was an excellent stay and the kids had a blast!"

Sandy Pond Cozy Getaway

"Super clean and new, fresh feel. Great parking space for extra things (car, boat, snowmobiles, etc). Quiet and calm, about 10 min from Sandy pond. Slight issue with the AC, the host was very communicable and had it fixed asap. Host was excellent and helpful. Will stay again. (We had 2 adults, 2 grandparents, 2 children under 5.)"

"Perfect property for a long lake weekend. Beautiful home. Excellent location. Incredible neighbors. Plenty of parking. Finally, a host that gives you plenty of towels!!!! However, there is only air conditioning in the bedrooms, not the common areas. I would go back in a minute. Great stay."
