Travel with family and friends, worse choice ever, the food is terrible, the hotel looks old ,not well maintained, they can't put a table for 13 together, you have to be separate from your group at every buffet and restaurant you go, the music is limited , this place is for elder people or family with little kids, that want little activities and go to bed early , peace and quite, the hotel trick is too keep the people from animation talking with you making you feel everything is fun, asking you to do the reviews at that moment becauae that way you forget the horrible experience you are having at this expensive hotel. Expend 4 nights and the elevator was broken never fixed, and the other group had the elevator on and off broken too, and the tiles of the pool omg they are peeling off, you are walking around and is like stepping on Legos, people picked them from the bottom and put them at the side of the pool, is very disappointing . Went there because they good reviews but I don't know who this people are or what is a good resort means to them, because this is not one .

El mantenimiento de los cuartos y piscina. Recomendaciones después de cerrar área de piscina deberían limpiar las áreas de las tumbadas, hacer que un grupo se quede cuando cierre los lugares de actividad y cuando sea otro día estén recogido y limpio. Mi opinión. Pero por lo demás 👌.

Great place! Second time here. Came back in 2014. And now in 2026. Entertainment was a lot better and food was good. My only complaint wood be. On the swim up bar side of the entire pool needs to be redone because there’s a lot of tiles missing, to the point I seen someone cut there toe. Besides that it’s a great place and would recommend everyone to visit

Our stay at Majestic Elegance Punta Cana exceeded our expectations. The resort is beautiful, very clean, and offers a relaxing atmosphere. The food was excellent, with plenty of restaurant options, and the staff was always welcoming and attentive. A special recognition goes to our butler, Osvaldy Guerrero, who provided outstanding service throughout our stay. He was always available, professional, and made sure every detail of our vacation was taken care of. His kindness and dedication truly made our experience even more enjoyable. The pools, beach, entertainment, and overall service were excellent. We had a wonderful vacation and would definitely choose Majestic Elegance again for a future trip. Highly recommended!

I enjoyed every part of my family vacation. The staff was exceptional. The food at the Italian and steak restaurant were tasty. The buffet had a lot of choices. The rooms were clean and large. The main pool needed some love. The some pool tiles were missing and needed to be replaced. But it was still fun and enjoyable. My 5 year did not want to leave and liked the kids area a lot. I would return.

We went for 10days and got two rooms, the room with the garden view is great however the one we have facing the pool has a foul smell like drainage, coming up specifically in the morning. Its the same smell that is noticeable at the pool bar. It's so stinky that wakes us up feel uncomfortable. We also have to keep reminding the lady to give new towels every time. The service are good if you give a good amount of tip, otherwise you wait.

If you are traveling with children and couples in one group just know that you will be on two separate ends and in some restaurants won’t be accessible to you. That was my biggest problem. We were traveling with my daughter and had family with us with no kids, they had amenities specifically for couples that we could not access although our daughter was in the kids club, so we had to do something on our own. We went to another resort before and they had adult only sections that we were able to access, but when we complained they said this is how they do things. It was a very bad experience for us and they didn’t try to do anything to make it up to us. The people at the reception desk are very rude, but the guest services are very nice and everyone else around the resort are super accommodating and nice. Especially Mayelin who was part of the entertainment on the beach and at night. Christian and Juan were also very sweet. Our room was clean and the person that cleaned our room was amazing! The resort itself is beautiful and the restaurant staff were all super nice. if it wasn’t for those issues we had, I would have given 5 stars.
