It was really ideal for us in many ways; close to our relatives home and offered a superb location to explore the Luberon region.

The grounds and surrounding view are distinguishing. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful. The room was serene and well appointed. Breakfast was superb, but dinner service was slow. Coquillade lives up to Relais & Chateau’s reputation. This was my second visit from the US to the hotel. and I’d happily return.

Car is a must, and parking here is plentiful and free in front of or just 30 sec from the hotel. There are lots of picturesque towns close by and most towns in the region have markets to discover and enjoy. Lavender covers the region, Mont Ventoux is a bit further but can be seen from the drive into Apt if you come from Aix… The hotel has no restaurant, but the town has a few good ones; the one to not miss is” Chez Mon Cousin Alphonse.”

This is a genuine retreat for anyone that needs to drop out and disconnect for a few days. The staff is friendly and helpful, though be advised, this is a working winery and they are as likely to be in the fields as in the office! Be sure to ask for a wine tasting. :-)

Beautiful location, and grounds. Charming buildings and excellent place to have dinner and take in the view. Food and food service were top notch. The decks on the suite are a fantastic place to relax after a day of exploring with sweeping views with a lot character. The staff were all very helpful (exception of one preoccupied with personal phone so as to forget about our request for drinks to be delivered to poolside, got remedied after the second visit to front desk 30 minutes later). ...

This property is absolutely amazing. It was clearly built as a labor of love by the owner, Jourdan. Gorgeous stone and marble construction. Beautiful pool area with views down to the farmlands and Luberon mountains of Provence. Stephanie was incredibly helpful with all aspects of our visit. Very lovely property just outside of Ménerbes. Both the guest room and facilities were terrific. Comfortable as well as chic!
