"Although enjoyable not quite what we were expecting. We only however had 2 problems. Finding the location initially. There were no directions and eventually we had to phone Alain. The second was the shower. It was very difficult to use and needs reviewing."

"The address given is not accurate and it took us ages to find, we had to hope that the host read the messages, he then gave us the address. This is listed as an English speaking host which is not accurate. We struggled to communicate. The place is advertised with a pool but this was out of bounds due to the drought, we understand this but we should have known before arrival. We had no hot water at all during our stay and we could not contact the host despite messaging and ringing the door...

"Mas Carol is an amazing place! Prepare to be in the middle of nowhere, the road is fine if you drive carefully but the location gives you a lot of rest and breathtaking views. The owners are very nice and available for questions. The pool is clean and large. The house can get a little bit of an upgrade, especially the kitchen but that is also the style and what makes it charming. We had a great time! "

"We spent our 2 weeks holiday (May/June) at the Ile des Pecheurs. The house was ok. Unfortunately there was no water in the pools, because of the drought. The resort was calm and we can recommend the restaurant and the bakery/ snack bar. The communication with the owner of the house was very good. We certainly come back again."
