Possibly because I booked through Expedia, but that shouldn't be my problem, and it really annoyed me. Not a word of apology from the host, again, might be language barrier, but does not show them in the best light. "Martina and Alessandro were wonderful hosts. friendly helpful and full of information about the surrounding area. The rooms were beautifully designed in keeping with the age of the building with lovely little details. Breakfast was fresh every day with plenty of local produce. "Loved my stay at B&B Villa Zola. The views were amazing, the suite, amenities and attention to detail above par and much more than I expected. Private Terrace with a view to the sea! Absolutely wonderful stay. Antonio is a thoughtful and welcoming host. I only wish I could have stayed longer than 3 nights. The villa is located in a peaceful neighbourhood, breakfasts were plentiful. What more can I say, than 5 star service and accommodation! "

"The property is exceptional and the gardens are truly wonderful. Slight issue in travelling to the property, which took over 5 hours on public transport. As a tourist, it was impossible to provide an accurate arrival time which i estimated going on the distance that i needed to travel. "Hidden costs for cleaning which was extremely disappointing (be prepared to cough up extra €60 for that). Extra charges for the towels (€10 er set per person) which are not included in the price. Never experienced anything like that. For the 6 days of stay apartment wasn't cleaned even once and you have to take care of your rubbish!!! No sofa in the room you can only seat at the wonky chair or lay down on your bed. Wi-fi was almost non existing. Only in communal areas and that wasn't working...

"Very nice resort situated right on a beautiful white sand beach. There are a few things that could use some upgrading and improvement but nevertheless we had a wonderful 2-week stay at the family apartment with two young children. The apartment furnishings are very basic. The bottom floor apartment was perfect for us as our kids could run around in the front and back patios. The bathroom unfortunately smelled pretty bad like sewer but we closed all the drains and that helped. The kitchen is not...
