We stayed 2 nights. The chateau hotel was beautifully decorated and surrounded by lush landscaping. The service was excellent. The room was clean and quiet. The air freshener that was sprayed in the room and throughout the hotel was a little too strong. Parking was free. Although we enjoyed the breakfast, we felt that it was mediocre for a luxury hotel. The location was convenient to drive to Sarlat, Marqueyssac garden, etc.

The staff was very welcoming and more than helpful. When we found ourselves in a bind because we needed fuel and the only service stations open were automated (which don't accept American credit cards), the hostess went with us and used her personal credit card to get us on the road again. (We paid her back with cash.)

Great place tucked away with all the dordogne towns quickly accessible by car. Loved the property and pool. Paul and Marilou are exceptional mangers of the property.

Excellent. Very comfortable, plenty of space, indoor pool, total quiet, well stocked fridge for guests, very good breakfast. Only minor issue is that the location is a bit remote from the nearest villages - definitely a car needed, not walking distance. Plus you will need Google Maps to find it (may not be a bad thing!).

The hotel facilities are great, but, the staff is outstanding. All were extremely friendly and helpful. I will surely stay there the next time I am in Sarlat.

Hotel Las Falaises is a beautiful hotel in a beautifully rich, historical area. It is clean, comfortable and updated. The staff is wonderful, friendly and helpful. The breakfast is dependably delicious also with dinners available on request. It is close to the world reknown Lascaux Cave Art and the historical sacred city of Rocamadour. Beautiful Hotel in a beautiful area. Loved staying there!

The hotel is located near the center of the old city, many restaurants within 3 minute walk. A free parking lot is 5-7 minute walk, and always had a spot in early October. The staff of Clois and Valentine were terrific.

The area is really close to the city center of Sarlat, but has a country feel. The room we stayed in was delightful with stone walls and decorated with antiques.
The hosts gave us great suggestions for dinner the two nights we stayed there. The breakfast was filling.

A very convenient and comfortable base for our six-day exploration of the Périgord Noir region. Free parking. An easy walk into Sarlat old town. Breakfast was generous, sometimes we skipped lunch later. Quite a few restaurants and cafes nearby. There are no refrigerators in the rooms, if that is important to you. Staff are glad to fill ice / water thermos. Our room window looked out on greenery growing on the neighbors' roof. Stepping up into the bathroom took getting used to. Suggest some...
