"Three minutes from a grocery store, but well away from busy highways and roads. Neighbors are also at a distance. It is a peaceful and quite place to stay. It was perfect place for my wife and three of her sisters to get together for a few days with plenty of seating for them and kids in the living area."

"Property was just as described. The red cows are adorable and fun to watch them graze their way up to the fence line. If you're bringing pets their built in kennel is great, as it is the whole porch so your dogs are not cooped up. Beds are extremely comfortable and the best part is the many many towels you have access too. Nothing worse than getting a rental that gives you 4 towels for a 4 day stay. Planning on going back again in November."

"This is my second stay at Birdies and I just love it! The hosts go out of their way with small details you might never think of elsewhere. The hummingbirds were dove on bing this trip on the porches at the feeders at there were various birds at the seed feeders, beautifully colored. A Nice rabbit visits in the evening. The house is just perfect for a small family, girls getaway or refresh for any couple. Lots of little shops to visit in town and the breeze on the porches are perfect for...

"The whole family loved the peaceful feeling when we drove through the gate, to see the land and the trees and the little farm house. We walked in and again felt a peaceful spirit. The history of the house really excited my wife, daughter and Granddaughter. Yes we would definitely stay again.Thank you for the wonderful feeling we felt when we were there. "

"Great little bungalow with everything you need and then some. The bed was very comfy, everything was clean, the heater kept the space plenty warm, & the owner was quick to respond when we locked ourselves out. The room had a large nice TV that was comfortably seen from the bed. It was just what we needed. We wanted to get away for a few days & recoup from the holidays, but we didn't want to be too far from home. This place fit the bill & worked out nicely. Even though the owner was in the house...

"Host was very responsive. House was well stocked with everything you need and even the things you may have forgotten. House and boat dock was just as described and dock was great to fish off and had green light for night fishing. A lot of outdoor seating with shade. Was a great trip overall and we will book again next trip to Lake Fork."
