We had a lovely 5 night stay at La Sovana in their apartment complex. We had a 2-bedroom, 2-bath with kitchen. It was the perfect set up for 2 couples to share. My only wish was that it included a washer/dryer set up. Laundry is available for a fee which we did use but it would be nice if there was washing capability in the apartment itself. The best accommodations we've had in Italy. The rooms are so cute! The stone walls, brick ceiling, and chandelier... I felt like I woke up in a castle. The entire property is just beautiful!! Great little Boutique hotel. Outside the walls of the old city but an easy and short walk into town.Street parking is plentiful. Hotel is clean, upgraded, with quirky decorating that is tasteful. Rooms are small but well appointed. Staff was extremely nice, professional and accommodating . Be aware no elevator. Loved San Quirico d’Orcia. Smaller mountaintop town, highly walkable , not overrun by tourists but the same charm, history and leisure options as the larger towns in Tuscany.
