"We had the pleasure of staying at Raiatea Lodge Hotel during the second leg of our honeymoon, and it was everything we could have hoped for—a peaceful retreat after spending time on larger, more touristic islands. The fusion of Polynesian and French influences in both the cuisine and entertainment was a standout. Every meal was an experience, combining local flavors with French culinary elegance, and the live entertainment added to the authentic yet sophisticated atmosphere. One of the most unforgettable parts of our stay was the incredible sunsets. They set perfectly to the west of the hotel, painting the sky in hues of gold, pink, and violet—some of the best sunsets we’ve ever seen! Watching them from the lodge was pure magic. If you’re looking for a quieter side of the Tahitian islands, Raiatea Lodge is the perfect choice. It’s far less touristic than some of the bigger islands, yet offers all the amenities of a top resort. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome without making us feel isolated from the island experience. It’s a place where you can unwind and truly enjoy the natural beauty of Raiatea.
