"I'll try to keep this concise. The host is a rock star. Every detail of the boat was perfect for us. The location - perfect. The houseboat community - welcoming, genuine and people you want to meet. The houseboat itself - awesomely authentic with every need met. Super clean, amazing bed and linens, every kitchen utensil imaginable. September was an amazing month for us with awesome weather. Heading out in the mornings on the kayak was soul enriching. Wine on the back deck or apps on top can't be beat.The only potential drawback would be for someone who is not used to living on a houseboat. It's a somewhat unique experience - close quarters, clothes storage. But if you are at all experienced with even a short stay on a boat, then those issues are simply not an issue.It rained only a few days so we were blessed.Be sure to check out the weekly farmers market right around the corner; it's worth it. Sausalito also has plenty of great restaurants in every price range.For us, an overall 5-star experience."
