"I will say this was an excellent location - but otherwise overpriced for the spartan amenities. Dirty air vents, huge stains surrounding carpet in hallway, and the previous occupants toothpaste still in the sink were a little disheartening. Online staff was quick to assist and helpful."

"First off the hotel staff at the hotel was absolutely amazing. Kylie in the restaurant was so helpful with our dietary needs. It’s a beautiful hotel and well designed. The only thing was the noise. I read so many reviews ahead of time and don’t recall coming across one that spoke about the noise from the pool, Rainy Street and then the overspill when drunken guest return screaming all night. It definitely isn’t a hotel I would stay with our child again but if you’re looking to party and barley...

"We had a fabulous stay at Downright Austin! The hotel was beautiful and the staff were so friendly and helpful. They mentioned it was newly renovated and the vibe was perfect. The only area of improvement would be the bar, but I think they are still renovating that portion of the hotel with the new restaurant and swim club. Thank you for a great stay!"
