"The apartment was spotless, newly remodeled, and a really great place to stay at a much lower price than the Marquette or Munising areas. We will definitely stay there again, however, the only critique is that the beds are very very firm… so be forewarned. The couch is a small futon and not very comfortable either, however, by folding it down and adding pillows from the beds, we were able to make it comfortable in order to decompress from a day of hiking. There is a lovely farm to table, gluten free and vegan friendly restaurant within a block walking distance, and it’s just a short ride into Marquette. I recommend this rental. "

"Republic is pretty much in the middle of the U.P. so everything is a 45 min drive and up for sight seeing, which made it great for what my wife and I planned. Be advised the cell coverage in most of the U.P. is not good.This property is nice and private with a gate at the end of the driveway. The owners Ken and Sara are awesome with communication, they get back to you with great information and a quick response. Will definitely consider this again for future stays. Dan and Melissa"

"Super cute little lakefront property! Conveniently located a short drive from Marquette. We caught fish off the dock and went for a swim in the lake to cool off after a session in the hot tub. All the amenities we needed were there, a true little gem. "
