Our driving distance to the wedding venue (KauriBay Boomrock Clevedon) was free of motorway traffic-troubles. Hotwater had to be turned on at external water tank. "We came to the island for a wedding but wanted to stay an extra night. The location was great. You could see palm beach from the porch of the property. Very short walk to Palm Beach which had a great little restaurant and store right by it. The resort has a good restaurant as well, which is right there. If you are not in your own vehicle I would suggest taking a cab to the property with luggage. The walk to the property from the bus we took had a pretty steep climb to do with all of our bags....

"We stayed at this property in late December 2023. Everything was wonderful. The rental is situated higher up on the hillside so the ocean view was such a treat. For a small fee we were able to use the outdoor pool, which also had a stunning ocean view. We walked down to the beach in the morning, and grabbed some coffees down there for a wonderful way to wake up. We'd love to return! Thank you for a great stay."

"Really liked the island of Waiheke. Enjoyed the view from the deck. Great privacy for a unit in a holiday resort. Need to remove excess items from drawers to free up storage space. The six air fresheners were overpowering, and the table “ cloth” should be chucked out! I think the unit met our expectations. Nice little place for a short stay."
