This Cabin was amazing. It was the perfect basecamp for our travels throughout SD and day trips into ND and WY. It had every amenity you could ask for. It was very relaxing, cozy and quiet yet close to the city. I highly recommend this property.

The Buffalo Cabin was the perfect location for a week of exploring South Dakota. The house itself was fully stocked with essentials and was wonderfully built and decorated. It was the perfect place to start and end our days after exploring. The neighborhood was perfect for taking walks with our dogs. We were sad for our stay at the house to end.

Close to so many attractions

Fantastic house

Loved staying at this property. The house was gorgeous and impeccably clean. There was a ton of room and the set up of kitchen and bedroom counters made it very convenient for living out of suitcases. The kitchen appliances, cutlery, cookware were all new and very clean. The bathroom was beautiful, the shower had great water pressure and the heated floor was SO nice on the feet!The outdoor space was nice and the neighborhood was quiet. I would definitely stay there again if in the area.

Beautiful nature get-away with the comforts of town

This beautiful property is located in a developed area but with an out-in-nature placement. The big windows offer views of the landscape in all directions. Very easy check-in and even easier check-out procedures make this stay a gem.

The Buffalo Cabin is Awesome!

This cabin offered privacy and seclusion for our family while being close to both Rapid City, the Black Hills, and the Badlands. The cabin was extremely well stocked, clean, and beautiful! We didn’t want to leave!

Most amazing cabin!!!

We booked this cabin, not knowing what to expect. To our surprise, it exceeded all expectations! Its clean, modern with a family feel and the beds are so comfortable. If you want an amazing experience, this is your cabin.

Black Hills Vacation

We had a really good time visiting all the sites around the Black Hills. It was nice to come "home" to a beautiful cabin after a long day and relax. I highly recommend having a base camp to come back to with plenty of room for the entire family. Great location, center of everything. This cabin is top notch.

Lovely getaway

This was truly a lovely home. Very spacious, clean and well appointed. Loved all the windows and natural light in the house. I was extremely impressed with the extras available for use, outdoor grill, outdoor patio propane fire pit - I haven’t experienced those amenities in other vacation rentals before. The proximity to Rapid City and all of its surrounding attractions was perfect. We felt very much at home and Buffalo Cabin was extremely relaxing for us.

Amazing!

Amazing. Can't say enough about the cabin. Everything you could need for your stay, nice and quiet, clean, upscale ammenities. Enjoyed watching the neighbors horse. A wonderful stay. Amazing Family Vacation

We absolutely loved this cabin! Everything was beautiful - so well appointed and thought out. It didn’t bother us that there was one bathroom. The heated floor was great! Nice big kitchen and living room with ample seating. Coming back from touristing to play the family games at the cabin (Jenga, Old Maid, Go Fish) while watching for deer was one of our favorite parts! They really thought of everything here. WONDERFUL.

Absolutely amazing!

This home is amazing! It is close to so many places, national parks, monuments, and attractions. We saw so much and it was nice to “come home” here. Everything you need is here. We cooked and grilled nearly everyday. We saw deer, turkey, and horses everyday. I cannot say enough good about this home. We absolutely loved it!!

wonder week at buffalo cabin

What a wonderful week! I found this property searching in the Rapid City area so that we'd have a central location for our travels. It was excellent. The processes of reservation, communication, access and response to a couple issues as well as the house itself were all stellar. Jessica communicated well with us, esp as it related to getting internet and TVs working. Thank you so much. The house itself is so comfortable, well appointed and supplied with most everything you need for an extended stay. Just bring your food. The quiet location, frequent deer sightings and unique, mostly all wood features of the house are interesting and unique. I esp like the wooden door locks on a number of internal doors. And the exterior door locks were unique and substantial. If you note an odd odor outside around the parking area in late summer, we determined there's a small, low-growing weed with yellow blooms that will get your attention. Anyhow, if you are in the Rapid City area and needing a wonderful place to bed down for a while for 6 or less people, check out Spring Canyon Buffalo Cabin. It's good!

Great location, remote enough to be quiet but close to major highways. Large yard great for playing frisbee with the dog. The cabin was rustic/mmodern, very nice. The only place to take a walk is on the road which is narrow, my only complaint but otherwise, the cabin and property were great.

Exceptional House in the Heart of Nature

We loved this VRBO! The space was beautiful with beautifully detailed touches. The house had everything we needed and more! We especially loved seeing deer visit every night at dusk and we were memorized by the horses out back as we watched the sunset!
