"Animal hair all over, bed was horrible (PLEASE throw it away), blinds do nothing...had bright lights shining in room ALL night long, quiet hours (ha! Whats that?) were a joke. Got to hear the 2 female's downstairs talking about all their personal things, didn't even use the shower it was THAT horrible AND to top it off, left with bites from fleas and/or bed bugs 😡😡😭😭 I've never had such a horrible experience in Red River!"

"Host was attentive but we experienced several inconvenient situations. The firewood was locked so we couldn’t just light a fire when needed. The hot water wasn’t working after a day of skiing so we had to go shower in another room outside across the building. The thermostats took a while to heat up the rooms. The sinks and toilets were not built for tall people. The beds were rock hard. Location was nice. The manager was very nice though and responsive. "

"We had several issues on this stay. The host seemed disinterested and made no effort to correct the issues. 1)Check in time was 3pm. We arrived shortly after 3 and the cleaner was still there, told us it would be an hour until the home was ready. We did notify the host, and his response did not come until about 8pm that night: "sorry, you are right, it's 3pm. It won't happen again." This does absolutely nothing to acknowledge or amend our personal stay. She has been with the owner a long time and knows when the house is supposed to be ready. 2) No wifi, no internet, no working TV, and the cleaner told us that owner disconnected the satellite dish. Our phones have low bars at his home. The listing promises wifi and TV. We did advise him of this and his answer was "I guess that's why the TV isn't working"3) MANY MANY rat droppings all over the garage. We didn't see any in the house, but did see a rodent bait station alongside the fridge. 4) On our first night, I received a call from the housekeeper to tell me a door she damaged while cleaning. That was nice of her to call and let us know she was taking responsibility for it, BUT...the owner should have communicated this to us directly, not passed out our phone number without our permission. 5) The headboards on the upstairs bed and the single downstairs both were leaning heavily and did not appear to be firmly attached to the bedrails. 6) Very dated decor and a couple of torn, ages-old games/puzzles (with no TV.)
