"Great pool and treatment area. Room was clean. Parking was good. Location was great as a base."

"The room was clean and spacious. The bed was very comfy and the bathroom was good. Only issue was the door in the corridor slammed everytime someone went through it. Probably just needs the door closer adjusting."

"Beautiful clean room , for an old building the creaky , slopping floors were as expected. Very well stocked breakfast but I wasn’t sure where we were supposed to eat it so we went back to our room so perhaps trays should be provided? My only problem was the wedding / house side , I think it confusing. Even though the staff were very friendly, I felt in the way the next day after check out as the bridal party were setting up for their wedding. Perhaps an area could be set up for non wedding...

"Stayed a few times and always superb!"

"I was disappointed by the quality of the room in that a number of pieces of furniture were excessively worn down (the desk chair, the bedhead as examples). This created a poor impression. Other aspects were of a normal standard. I also thought that certain parts of the outside property were poorly maintained; for example I found two abandoned tool kits close to my car that appear to have been there quite some time. "Paul was a great host. The lodge was comfortable and perfect for us attending a wedding nearby. The room has a fridge and a microwave, as well as tea and coffee. The bed was really comfortable and we had a good night's sleep."

"Usual high standard. No issues."

"Good size room, well equipped. Iron, usb wall sockets, usb charging bedside lamps. Loads of parking. Hallways and reception all well presented. EV charging works well, though expensive (75p per kw at time of writing). Bed was comfy and clean. Bathroom needed some maintenance (towel rusty, extraction not good enough so bathroom damp paint peeling). Corridor doors very noisy at night, they swing and bang 2-3 times when closing. Staid 2 nights; no house keeping for some reason (we’d...

"Lovely modern room, good quality Dove toiliteries. TV very modern. Fantastic breakfast"

"Good room, very nice breakfast, helpful staff"

"Location was great. We enjoyed our stay very much. Loved the peacocks and peahens."

"Very clean, with a very good buffet breakfast and ample free parking. Only downside was a 10am checkout."

"Very noisy on Saturday night but to be expected on Broad Street. Good breakfast."
