"Friendly staff "

"Clean room , friendly staff, room size and accessories was great. Great location and view on property and from room. Available food drink lounge and live music were great. Some of the common areas including interior of elevators could use some cleaning but the room was spotless. Will defiantly use again. "

"We had a room reserved and paid weeks prior to a staying and when we got there around midnight, they said well it is first come first serve. We have no rooms available and stuck us in a room with only one bed. We told them this would not work as an option because we had five people we had to wait around an hour to get another room cleaned for us. I don’t understand where she meant first come first serve when we were one of those reserved ones. We had children with us in around 3 AM. There was all kinds of loud music outside of our window at the entryway going on for over 30 minutes like a party. We got hardly any sleep and we needed to be up early. I asked to speak to a manager she said she would give my name and number, but never got with me. After driving 12 hours, the last thing you want to do is wait over an hour at midnight on a room that you had already reserved and argue with someone about having a room available. They were not very friendly. All they kept saying is first come first serve, which made no sense to me. "

"Do not, I repeat DO NOT stay at this property. I had a day trip to Virginia and needed a quick place to stay. When I arrived first red flag were kids playing in the parking lot. Not to say that they can’t play, but it was obvious these kids lived at the property. When I got inside the room, it smelled like cigarettes, the beds were just mattresses on spring frames, pillows were different sizes, bathroom was dirty. Even though the surface of the bed didn’t have any stains, if I had a black light im certain there would’ve been bodily fluids and whatever else on the sheets. The kids were running back and forth by my room on the 2nd floor. I did not feel safe nor did I feel comfortable. I stayed there less than 15 mins before I checked out and went somewhere else. 0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. "

"The Inn at Four Eleven York and its staff can be described as gemstones. The exquisitely renovated old home is a cultured pearl found in this lovely area of Norfolk. Our stay was quiet and very comfortable and our beautifully decorated room and immaculate bathroom were phenomenal, with a well curated assortment of drinks and snacks and luxurious bath items for our enjoyment. The courteous and capable women who attended to our every need, Hilary and Jasmine, are a matching set of diamonds. Hilary was so helpful in orienting us to the Inn, giving us a brief and delightful tour and informing us about the convenient, safe parking and door code. Jasmine made our wonderfully satisfying healthy breakfast showcasing her culinary talents and knowledge of the city when asked about the places we wanted to visit nearby. What a great pleasure to stay at the Inn at Four Eleven York and we certainly hope to return again."
