"If you have the chance to stay at this property, DO IT! We have stayed in many rentals in the area, but this location was so beautiful. Every single day of our stay, we saw wildlife of some kind: snails, doe and her fawn, and herons. The view from the balcony was gorgeous! It was a very relaxing property on the water. We did plenty of fishing and boating. A deer walked right up to us while fishing one evening. With young children, it can be hard to find a suitable rental. I appreciate the minimal “knickknacks” around the house. (I didn’t have to childproof much!) The hosts also put up many safety reminders, and that was reassuring. Even with a high balcony, I didn’t feel that I had to hover over them. We had exactly what we needed! The hosts provided many extra pillows and blankets, plenty of cutlery, and various board games. There was lots of room for our whole family, dog included! The hosts also left a thorough welcome binder that detailed rules and other policies, plus local recommendations. We hope to come back soon!"
