"My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The house had everything we could need, clear instructions, and was extremely clean. Not to mention, the house was gorgeous. I would definitely recommend this property as it was perfect for our family to come together and celebrate Christmas. Looking forward to another stay!"

"Technicolor retreat was a great relaxing getaway. The home is lovely and the location on the river was so relaxing after a day in the Dunes or Chicago. It felt very secluded and private. We can’t wait to go back. We were able to take our golden retriever who loves all things woods and water. Wish we could have stayed longer! "

"It was a great stay. The few problems we had were taken care of promptly. Communication was responded to quickly. My only complaint would be that since the home is older, it has a septic tank and well water, which made the water smell like rotten eggs. The owner came and ran the water and most if the smell dissipated. The beds were very comfortable and had a lot of charging ports for phones. I would definitely stay there again."

"Kim is wonderful and helpful! This is a no frills motel. If you want a cheap clean room, a basic place to sleep (bring your own pillow if you are picky about pillows), shower (water gets HOT, pressure is fairly good; bring your own towels if you use/want big towels and/or plush/soft/new ones), and do not need any amenities (no chair for desk in room with two beds, no hair dryer, no hangers) this is the place to stay. Can't beat the price. Stayed two nights last week and am typing this in my room...

"This little cabin was the perfect location to stay when visiting the Jasper-Pulaski Fish & Wildlife Area to see the Sandhill Cranes! Cabin was clean. Check-in was easy & Eric was very polite & helpful!"
