"A gorgeous and very comfortable house for me and my family( me, husband, 2.5 yr old and 5 month old). Great location for the beach and 20 min walk to St. Abbs. Lovely beds, very comfortable and the kitchen was really well equipped. It was so great to have loads of dishwasher tablets, washing machine pods and coffee pods!! Thank you!"

"Fantastic stay at the Allanton inn. Bar and restaurant is great, especially having a drink in the large outdoor area. Staff are very helpful and extremely friendly. The bed in our room was a little hard but it this is a minor issue for such a great stay. "

"A very spacious secluded bungalow, well equipped with a welcome pack awaiting our arrival. The weather wasn't particularly kind; it rained quite a bit (April) and it was rather cold but the log burner kept us warm and comfortable and the heating could be turned on and off to suit. The hosts were excellent and on hand to help when needed, but equally would give you the space to enjoy your holiday without intruding if that's what you prefer. Whilst the main road runs at the bottom of the valley, we rarely heard the traffic and what we heard was feint and unobtrusive. There was no noise from the wind farm close by; and you couldn't really see the turbines anyway. It was the ideal position for visiting Abbs Head, the Northumberland Coastline with it's beautiful sandy beaches and castle ruins and National Trust and Scottish Heritage properties and grounds"

"A beautiful property that was perfect for our needs. There were five adults and four children in our group and it catered, and was accessible, for all. Supermarkets are close, the views are fantastic, and the house itself was clean and tidy. We had to switch the timer off on the heating as it was very cold with it on but the house warmed up very quickly and it was really warm after a while. We would absolutely stay again and recommend it to anyone."
