Every time I've stayed here (4 or 5 times now) the staff goes out of their way to be helpful and the restaurant is just the best around. Everything is clean and convenient - I just love coming back to this place.

We didn't have chairs to sit outside our room but the other rooms did. They need different toilet paper. It was 1ply that shredded. Brought in alot of sand on our shoes and didn't have a way to sweep it up. Beautiful area to sit by the lake. Quiet and relaxing. Would stay there again.

This was such a neat resort. Gift shop, restaurant, tennis, water activities, there was even a wedding ceremony and reception outside by the barn . Horse carriages. So cool. Right on Lake Thompson. It's nestled back in the woods with approximately 30 cabins for rent. Rooms were very nice. Great atmosphere, quite and quaint. Would definitely go back!

Great location in the woods by the lake. Central lodge area very convivial. We stayed in a lodge room rather than a cabin which was rather dated and a bit tired with uncomfortable bed. No housekeeping service during 4 night trip which I was not aware would be the case.

Exceptional staff from the moment we walked in they made sure we knew where everything was and how to get around the property. It is an older property, built in the 70's, but it was very clean.

The resort is everything anyone could ask for , it in on a inland lake where you could bring your boat ,and fish or swim. There is tennis courts swiming pool weight room. The stall are great, and the food in the resterrant is really good.

I liked the peace and quiet. And i heard a loon laughing in early morn but it would've been nice to have a view of the beautiful lake. Excellent steak dinner and dessert!!

Happy accident getting a room for a night when my car died in Rhinelander. Staff couldn't be more welcoming and friendly. Coffee shop and supper club in resort, so not having car was no problem. Shopped for hodags at the cute gift shop and just relaxed with a view of the lawn, trees and shore of the lake. Reliable wifi so I could get some work done too. Everything smells truly clean, not that gross fake smell that makes you think the bed linens got sprayed down instead of washed. Head and shoulders better value for business traveler than the up north chains. i am coming back here for a proper vacation!!

People blocking boat landing so had to load boat up in shallow area very difficult also uneven when backing in the water . The person that owned the boat was there and seen that we were coming in put his boat in deepest part of the launch area.

Not very good. Overrated and expensive.

Expensive for the room condition and amenities. A/C was at 54 degrees when I entered the room and could not be adjusted. Staff unplugged the unit because could not be fixed. WiFi did not work anywhere for anyone on the premises. Not a glitch; more like a feature. TV did not work. Finally, I insisted on getting a different room although staff was reluctant.
