"The view!!! While deciding where to stay in the Azores, I do not think the reviews were clear about the view at this location. Truly, the view was amazing. We were lucky that our room had an incredible view, but the view can be enjoyed from many places throughout the resort. The staff were so helpful and friendly. "The view from the upper rooms of the ocean is breathtaking. The bed is comfortable and the small kitchen space has the basics of what you need. The patio space is shared with other units (although some bamboo provides a bit of privacy) so others smoking &/or having loud conversations can affect the tranquility. The surrounding area is farmland so it is very tranquil. The lodge is under renovation/construction - something we didn’t know. But the work stops in the afternoon so there was no issue....

"Quinta Atlantis is a beautiful space that makes you feel right at home. The craftsmanship of the wood is amazing and the fireplace is awesome. A great place for solo or couple travelers in the hills of Povoacao. You’ll spend time with the dog Laika and the cat Pluto who are very friendly, but will give you space as well.
