"Apartments were okay but booking through Hotels.com was a disaster. I booked using Tesco vouchers but the vouchers didn't go through at my first attempt. I then cancelled and rebooked immediately checking with George apartments that this was okay. They said it was but both payments were processed by Hotels.com. I have paid twice for the stay very expensive! "

The house is full of character and the location is absolutely beautiful, making it a wonderful base for exploring the Cotswolds. We really enjoyed our time here. With some improvements to cleaning, maintenance, and a few comfort details, it could be an exceptional holiday home."

The attention to detail in the hotel public areas is matched in the room with everything thought through from coffee machine to the luxury shower and bath. "The cottage was stunning and everything we expected. Perfect location for nearby villages and the scenery from the cottage was beautiful as we had baby lambs which made it more special. The only one thing I would add although we were aware before our stay is the double bedrooms maybe would be more accommodating if one of the rooms had 2 single beds but apart from that I hope to definitely stay here again and will be promoting this property very strongly.Ali"

"Great location, lovely old cottage but badly needs some help to make it appropriate for renting in the colder months. The beds and linen were excellent. Upon arrival we tried to log on to the WiFi but quickly discovered the network indicated didn't exist and the password was incorrect for the one that did, made a call and the owner/caretaker came around and logged us onto this network. Later we discovered 2 welcome books both identical in every respect apart from the WiFi network!! We just randomly picked up the wrong one, what a waste of everyone's time when the solution is a 10 second fix! The second issue was the open fire which smoked so badly the first night we had to douse it in water and open all the windows and doors, the draw is so bad I thought the chimney was blocked. I was assured it wasn't and tried again the following night, better but still had to open the windows and doors. Third night was more successful but only because of my past experience with open fires and log burners. Something badly needs to be done to improve the draw (canopy?), fit a cheap log burner, or improve the efficiency of the heating system to render the issue mute. Thirdly the quality and variety of crockery provided in the kitchen was excellent, but the rest of the cooking utensils was very poor with some basics. missing, unforgivably there was no corkscrew!!! Seriously! this is what I mean when I say there just seems a lack of care taken over the whole property."
