Sheraton New York Times Square Hotel

8/10 Good

"Great location, large rooms, especially for NYC. Everything was very clean, although there were signs of minor wear & tear. Beds were very comfortable. The lounge area was great for breakfast, drinks, or just having out. Staff was all very friendly & helpful. This is a very busy hotel, so check in lines were rather long at times. If you have the Bonvoy app, I suggest using it to check in. Would definitely stay here again!"

"The staff is really nice and helpful. They make sure everyone has a keycard before entering the elevators and keep solicitors out of the hotel. The rooms are a little small, but it was great for a short stay!"

"It could really improve by adding a coffee maker to the room. I stayed here multiple times over the last 3-4 years, and the small room doesn't bother me. However, having to go out first thing in the morning or buy coffee the night before so I can drink cold coffee in the morning has kept me from staying here unless the other two or three Midtown East NYC hotels I stayed at are charging sky-high prices. They have coffee in the room, and I pay more for that morning convenience."

"Great location for walking everywhere or hopping on subway in any direction. Not in the craziness of Times Square even though it’s only a few blocks. Lots of dining options all around. Nice bar/lounge area on 2nd floor. Rooftop is definitely a young club crowd. Elevators are REALLY slow because it’s so busy. Easily waited 10 plus minutes in evening when rooftop is busy. They should have 2 dedicated to guests staying there."

"The self check-in kiosks were down both days, so the checking in line at the small desk was very long at times. The 4th floor withe restaurant and other public spaces was roomy and comfortable. Large rooftop lounge and bar very nice as well. Good buffet breakfast was basic but good for $22. My small, solo room was compact but comfortable- however, no fridge for this room category."

"I liked how convenient it wax to get around, the location was perfect for the price. Also the AC worked really well as it was hot during our stay. Staff were very kind as well"
