"Quaint and charming building, nods to its history. Staff were really friendly and accomodating. The room was reasonably sized and clean. Both it and the bathroom would benefit from being spruced up - the decor is really tired and the window wouldn't shut properly. However, the bed was really comfortable and that made up it. Very good value for the price. Would stay there again."

"Beautiful old inn with character. Reasonable price bar drinks and food. Fab breakfast. Staff all amazing, friendly, helpful and went over and above. 2 minor cons. Could hear talking in next room and toilet bleach wd remove old stains. TV had all the apps but cd not access programmes Wd definitely come back. "

"We were concerned that staying in a pub might be noisy but you couldn’t hear those in the pub or outside noise. The room was a good size, but with a character property comes a few negatives. Firstly the stairs to the second floor were steep and narrow. Floors are uneven, slope and creak. The bed was too soft for us but the pillows too hard. The room was far too hot even after switching off the towel rail. A fan is provided and was kept on overnight but didn’t make much difference. The window was...
