Montrose Valley Lodge

"The room was clean and parking was decent. The air conditioner did not work very well, but it was cool enough. The biggest issue we had was that the two staff that worked the night of 9/12/26, were following people in the parking lot. We had walked to the restaurant that shared the parking lot and when we came back, one of them followed us until we started walking up the stairs. When my fiancé went back out, the same guy was trying to flex at him and kept staring. This makes people very uncomfortable and if I had been alone, I would not have felt safe."

"The property is in a great location -5 minute walk to the gondola. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. We ate at the restaurant on property one night and it was really delicious."

"I really enjoyed my stay here in Ouray. The hot spring pool was definitely one of my favorite parts—it was so relaxing after a long day of exploring and hiking. The staff were also very nice, kind, and welcoming, which made the stay even more pleasant. The room didn’t have a refrigerator, which would have been nice to have, but overall I was still very satisfied with my stay. I would definitely consider staying here again when I visit Ouray!"
