"Absolutely fabulous place to stay! Exactly as described with everything you need for a break away. Hot tub was a great touch in wonderful little garden with lights. So clean and a pleasure to stay there. Lovely little touch with welcome basket on arrival. Would highly recommended!"

"Everything was wonderful. Our hosts even included a pack of biscuits and 500ml of milk in the fridge. The road up to the cottage is a well maintained farm road as long as you drive at no more than 10 mph. Very comfortable king size bed sith luxurious bath towels etc. The wifi worked well as did the tv although we hardly had it on. The towns of Pickering & Malton were less than 5 miles away, both with good & interesting shops. I look forward to returning on my next visit."

"We came back to visit with other family members and enjoyed our stay just as much as the first. Some of us were a little under the weather and so it was lovely to have a relaxing, beautiful environment in which to rest. We were even able to avail ourswlves of the sauna which had been installed since the last time we visited back in September. A delightful property! i wish we could find something similar to one day for us to live in!"

"This house is a great house for a large group, is well located so you can walk everywhere, it’s well fitted out and it’s spotlessly clean. But the damp smell and unsightly damp stains across the house detract from this and should be declared to people before they stay. We checked in at the end of a very wet day and the house stunk of damp. The ground floor kitchen area was especially bad and it got better as you went up the levels. We stayed in a duplex apartment on the ground floor and felt the bedrooms were a bit small and cramped. Not enough storage space eg. Better than the rating but has a few issues
"A much better hotel than the rating. A touch tired and the plumbing is noisy due to the age of the building, just needs a few floorboards raised to fix, but the bedrooms are very good. Breakfast was overpriced at £18.50 though and nothing outstanding."
