"Tres bel endroit, personnel attentionné et très gentil, le barman et manager Mario est toujours disponible pour repondre aux questions et organiser des tours. À quelques pas de ma plage, la nourriture est excellente, que ce soit au dejeuner au diner ou au souper. Seul petit bémol, il n’y a pas d’air climatisée dans les chambres donc un peu chaud mais il y avait tout de meme un ventilateur. "

"We had to pick up some equipment at the Marina in Golfito so we decided to try Amaka. We were pleasantly surprised with the accommodations..with the highlight being the spectacular view of the marina surrounded be emerald green rainforest covered mountains. We come to Golfito often but don’t normally spend the night..but we’re really happy we gave Amaka a try. THE STAFF is excellent, they upgraded our room to get us checked in earlier..clean, spacious, and very cool “marine life” large canvas...

"The hotel is in the beach, a 4 minute walk from town. They cremated tours to cano island and Corcovado national park, which was super convenient. They arranged a fun evening for all the guests on Christmas Eve. The staff are superb. "

"It was an awesome arrival. We expected a fantastic lobby , but it was lovelier than even on the internet. Very friendly staff, exzellent services, very good choices of breakfast, lunch and dinner. Then the unexpected jungle pathway over bridges and walkways to the separate lodges. Our lodge Marvilla was wonderfull with a huge outdoor bathroom in the middle of the jungle. "This lovely hotel, in the tiny, unpretentious village of Drake Bay, was wonderful. I am an amateur wildlife photographer. The manager gave me Room 1, with an enormous window that looks out onto a guarumo tree. In this tree arrived, in turn, a toucan, a pair of aracaris, tanagers, tityrus, caracaras, golden-naped woodpeckers, multiple iguanas, hummingbirds - it was simply incredible.
