Very olde-world fancy. Comfortable beds, great view over Copacabana beach. Awesome dining room (air con was a bit overzealous) but the breakfast seemed to be mostly very rich cakes. I was happy with cereal and yoghurt, and very pleased that it was included in the rate. They were very accommodating to store our luggage until check in the day we arrived.

Fantastic location, over looking Copacabana Beach. The hotel is not the modern but it has a slightly faded charm. Breakfast was good but could get busy. My room had a beautiful sea view. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The hotel is great! I wasn’t impressed by the pictures when I booked, but the good reviews convinced me. In reality, the hotel is beautiful, clean, and convenient. The staff was very friendly and always ready to help. I felt very safe during my stay, as the staff made sure we were well taken care of.

No rooftop no pool.....on copacabana beach....the lobby have a feel of 60s opulence which was exciting..breakfast was great...our bathroom had a leak from the top and they kept saying they have no other rooms until they finally moved us. Next day we had a water isuue for 3 hours. They did not offer us anything extra for our inconvenience.

The hotel is right in front of Copacabana beach with restaurants, beach bars, and supermarkets nearby. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Complimentary breakfast with a lot of variety. The hotel is kind of old. Overall, we had a pleasant stay at Olinda Rio Hotel.

Good value hotel facing the ocean. It's worth getting a room with sea view - a little more expensive, but worth it, as some rooms only have interior windows and no view at all. Good breakfast included, although it could offer more healthy options (and less sweets and cakes). All staff was very friendly. Overall, I enjoyed my stay, although the hotel needs some upgrading.
