"Monkeys right outside was fun! Pool/swim up bar was nice. This place is right next to the entrance to MANP so that was great! Spa was Great! I had a massage two days in a row because of a very sore neck! Andrea was great! We stayed in the Ballena suite, which was wonderful! The burgers at the restaurant were the size of my son’s head! The sushi was great too! Everyone was very helpful! If you go during the rainy season, know that it rains a lot and some of the stairs get very slippery! I was hanging onto the railing and I still slipped and fell. I was fine, but just a heads up that when it rains it POURS and the floors are very slippery so be careful! Highly recommend this place!!!"

"We loved this place! Stayed on a family vacation with me and my 13 year-old, and it was great - appropriate for couples, families, etc. The pool was great, the location on the beach was awesome. The igloos were so cool - cozy, but enough room to move around and hang out. Breakfast at the hotel was delish. We would highly recommend to anyone going to Manuel Antonio!!"

"Where do i start!! Absolutely love our stay at this hotel within the staff Moses at the bar. He was absolutely wonderful. Check-in was very easy. We had a grand bungalow and our room was phenomenal. Housekeeping was very clean. We’re around a lot of different restaurants five minutes away from the national park it was one great experience. There are a lot of animals and monkeys around in our hotel which was a plus my mom was at another hotel nearby and there wasn’t a lot of animals to see around their hotel but ours had a lot, which was one of the best parts of the experience while you’re laying down on the pool you will absolutely see the animals once in a lifetime experience thank you all for such a great time"

The breakfast was amazing and pizza at the restaurant was good. So excited to see monkeys outside balcony. I saw more wildlife at Shana than at the park. I definitely recommend this place. "Very nice ecology minded hotel. The grounds are great. It has quirky architecture, the staff are friendly and helpful The site view has a stunning viewpoint where u can enjoy the sunset The only criticism is that site is not practical for moving luggage from the car park to the room"
